Thanks, guys -
I knew this would happen soon after I installed the LSD from the Gen1 LWB.... and it hasn't even turned one revolution yet. But that's a benefit of running a yard like this.... the stuff just comes to me if I'm patient. I guess I'll pull this SR axle with the parts Michael listed and save it for another day when I run out of projects. That sure is a beefy looking axle and it would be nice to have those rear discs.
With some fresh paint, the 5 SR wheels will make nice street wheels for the G-Raider or the MM.
More questions:
1) Is the flange face on the pinion the same distance from the axle center as the Gen1 so I won't need to shorten the rear propshaft? 2) Do I need the brake proportioning valve from the SR? 3) Aren't the SR front brake calipers dual piston type? 4) Will the SR front brake calipers mount on the Gen1 V6 knuckle? 5) Is the Gen V6 brake booster and brake M/C up to the task of the SR F/R brakes? 6) Are the SR front brake rotors the same size as the Gen1? 7) Can someone explain the benefit of the SR UCAs? 8) WMS-WMS = 2" more than the Gen1 axle? Looks like wheels with 1" more backspace and front spacers would fix that.
