I just looked at some 2000 Sport calipers that are in excellent condition with nice backing plates - that seems to be the best path unless the SR rotors and knuckle will fit on the Gen1 - not likely if the upper ball joint is larger on the SR - or unless the SR rotor will fit the Gen1 knuckle. In any event, the Sport calipers should be an improvement over the single piston Gen1.
