Turbo ID? My guess is a T3. Can't seem to find a map.

Intake side .42 A/R
Exhaust side .53 A/R

Need a Spot
When I did mine, I used all the Montero bracketry and accessories. I don't recall any fitment issues with the A/C. I do know that I never even discharged the A/C system (or the P/S for that matter).

That turbo seems aftermarket. I'm pretty sure that all the OEM StarQuest turbos were Mitsu TD05-series. I would *guess* a T4 series turbo.

I would guess that turbo is a t3 45trim here is a flow map.
As that's the most common one for that housing.
Its about the same size as a stock Turbo(12a)
T3 .42ar 45 trim

1997 Montero LS with a motor swap a 1990 V6 12valve ported heads full 2.5in Ex I run stock tire size for Daily use, off road have 33x12.5 working on going trubo.

Yep, That is in the Misc...

Putting in a new water pump in my N.A. today so I figured I'd take the radiator in to get cleaned in prep for the TSI.

Might be more difficult than I thought. Not many radiator shops around here any longer. When (if) I find one, what service do I ask for? I've heard it coined here as "rodding" is that a common term?

You want it rodded, or you want a new core. The starion rad will fit, but it's a 2 row, and you want the stock monty 3row. flushing is a waste of time and money...

Doing a visual on my radiator inside it looks pretty clean. I called what appears to be the only true radiator shop in my 1.5 million metro area and they want $150 for a rod job. So I am going to try a Muriatic Acid soak for 15 to 30 minutes rinse - repeat - neutralize and call it good. Rock Auto gets $200 for a new replacement.

Sweet, I'll definately be following this thread. Got a lead on a complete '88 Conquest myself, hoping to have it here in a few weeks if it all works out <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Will you have pics of each step as you go?

early September update:

Lots more parts obtained:
Modded Magna MPI Intake and Fuel Rail.
Threadstone T3 Exhaust Manifold
Tial Wastgate
Tial BOV

I also picked up a Garrett 60-1 T3 turbo - doubt I'll use in the truck.

Planning on EDIS-4 so got a module, pigtail, VR sensor, mount, distributor plug. 36-1 trigger wheel and pulleys.

More to come later in the month.
