Under 24 hours having this item someone tried to steal it!

My car alarm sounded at 4:12 AM and I checked out the window and a orange car (not unlike a neon or civic) sped off with 2 individuals!

I called police and suggested that they give the area a look over (although they were insistant that i make a report)...<Was to grouchy and sleepy> And I said, "why?"
"They already left!"

....I guess that it must be......"that nice"....And at only $69

BTW: Two streets over there is a Jeep Rubicon with a ladder... bungy cord tied to the wal-mart carrier thingy-----And they did not try to steal That one

They may make me get the whole thing Welded!

I see that you are living in a place like me...."The Land of Domani"
<procrastination My friend>!

How bad is your frame rot J???

I have rot on the tire holder(gotta get a plate support welded) if you look closely the tire is off due to the weak structure of the carrier (missing a piece and bolt).....Did not sell tires yet though

It's probably fixable. BTW, I had a custom tire rack for awhile. Until I bent it back in place. The don't hold up to backing downhill into a tree.

And i was in a parking lot.

Was snowy though.

All they wanted was the killer hitch receiver, not the rack

have it welded, hey here's a thought anything you don't want anymore just bungy it to the rack, use a cheap bungy also they might take it too. I will check online a find a stolen part retrieval tool, you would need a high spot to see from.

nice alarm back-up http://www.statemaster.com/encyclopedia/M107-Long-Range-Sniper-Rifle

I recently heard of someone who got ripped off. Cannot remember who or where. Goes something like this...
Situation:
Thief took a jerry can of gasoline that was tied back there on his rig.
Solution:
He took another metal jerry can and filled it up with gasoline and Liquid Draino. Placed it on the rear rack.
Result:
Neighborhood kid was seen on side of the street by his house with his brand new truck on lifts; removing gas tank.
Little does the kid know that the Draino will eat all the gaskets and rubber seals too. Ha Ha Ha
