Thanks Mike,
I'll be looking into these. How long/many miles do you think that the re-treads will last?

No, I believe your assumption to be spot on! Didn't his wife post a complaint some time back about that very subject.
I think she referred to him as PeeWee Tex <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/baby.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

They seemed to me like they lasted about the same as normal new tires...

Mudrunner
Just in case you get interested in the 30" tires from treadwright, they offer the mud design like this:

But the same style with their Kedge grip comes in a outer diameter of only 29 3/8".
I like the 31" tires that Nukeiridium suggested better.

What do you think about Maxxis mudders???
I'm running a 32x11.5 and are pretty good on mud considering the price.
They clean easilly, do not make noise on road and have a good durability.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
I looked at the specs on those MUD tires from Treadwright, and they say it's 30.7? must be a typo, I guess.

Most tires that are 31's are not really 31's.
Actually, I believe Treadwrights run larger than most new 31's and 30's.
