I got some weather stripping from Home Depo. I use audio dampening material in all five doors to maintain a quieter environment inside. I do not have high end sterio equipment. But the audio dampening works great and cuts back on the sound alot when off roading.

the black part # is 08008 and jobber is $8.26, the yellow part # is 08001 and jobber is $6.45, list price is usually double that so probably around $10 if you dont have an acct or get a discount...hope this helps

hey mikey try 1 rear window first, if too thick might want to go up and down slower because on the extra drag, I need to find the glue used on the film my driver side has been curling up and just rewetting it does not help, anyone know of what glue they use ? I know they sale film remover but never heard of the glue to reglue down for repairs

you guys are talking about the plastic sheeting between the metal and the door panel right...why,no matter how thick you go, would that make your window go up slower????the window motors and tracks are on the other side of that metal, not sure if i misunderstood something...if that is what your talking about then like i said buy the MMM black weatherstrip adhesive part #08008 from just about any auto parts store and it will work great to reglue it on there...just be careful its really gooey, thats why the mechanics refer to the yellow stuff as gorilla snot

oh,you mean window tint...window tint is self adhesive that is not reusable...the water is to make it easier to install and to get any bubbles out...anywhere that sells the tint should also sell an installation kit that includes a solution for installing but that is pretty much a mild solution of soap water, save your money and make your own

yeah its a pain in the i'd rather pay the $150 to get the sporty done and have a lifetime warranty against fading and bubbling...thats if i could afford the $150

Thanks and I got my doors sound/weather proof again. I got the 3 foot x 50 foot plastic roll for like $12.00 from Lowes. And the adhesive stuff is really supper glooey

I also sprayed some electric cleaner (quick dry) while I had the covers off and you would not believe all the black crud that ran down the electric control unit/contacts!

Thanks for the INFO Lonnie.

I wonder if he got his power windows working again????
