you can see mine in my driveway. lol! yep, it's rolled at least once, maybe twice, cain't harlee remember... ha! body damage is cool! seriously, lost the windshield and mirrors, but NO interior damage, even the door panels and roof headliner are still perfect. i don't have a sunroof though. that could be hard to realign or whatnot, but if you JUST want seat belt mounts, do a seat belt bar behind the front seats. i had one mounted in my porsche 944 when i auto-x it way back when. took it out when i removed the racing corbeau's for the factory leather seats. was great for the 5-point belts we had to run. pretty easy to build and mount, so it'd be the way to go just for that. i did have to use a certain grade of metal, iirc, for porsche spec. racing. i don't know about 4x4 meet requirements though... jack b :-)
'89 raider v-6, blue w/blue-grey, auto, superwinch hubs, a/c, cruise/tilt, bouncy, big wheels/tires/suspension and kewl ol' school trailmaster motorsport grill guard and body damage! now with a yammie xt600e duallie mounted across the rear.

Check the rear of yours, above the side windows. Is there a round cap in the trim? There SWBs that came with 3-way rears, and some that have been retro'd into existing mointing points. Not sure if earlier SWBs had them. My 87 is retro'd.

John Baker used to sell a SWB roll bar. Wonder where they went,,, John Baker didn't make much money from the mitsu crowd... at least that's what he told me when I spoke with him. From what I learned from my research and from speaking with others who bought stuff from him, there were only a few things he actually made and sold online. The rest he resold from other manufacturers just like any other reseller(Sway Away Torsion Bars, etc.). His biggest problem though was that he marked up the prices higher than what most other places sold them for. That said he didn't sell much mitsu stuff and eventually stopped carrying unique Mitsu products and switched to selling Ford Explorer products and selling off the remains of his Mitsu inventory as time went on. IIRC he also sold Tractors and other farm implements so I suspect that's what he's selling now. To get back on topic, for the Roll cage I'd be interested in an exo versus an internal roll cage but only if I ever finish the basic mods then get a wild enough hair <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/butwiggle.gif" alt="" /> to make my rig dedicated solely for off road use. Not happening yet but it's getting close.
