I also use some of my wire for electric fence (bears vs honeybees); it's about the same gauge as bailing wire. Hardware/livestock stores have it.

I like the stainless steel Saftey Wire from McMaster Carr.
Doesn't rust like bailing wire and it's hella strong for soft wire.

Anyone here tried "Rescue Tape"?
I bought 6 rolls of it at the commercial marine trade show and LOVE the stuff!!!

Even built an upper shock bushing on the trial with it and it's still holding up 5 months later.

Add Chewing gum to the list. I've used it to plug gas tank holes for several months.

"100mph" tape is good stuff, too, but I haven't been able to find it lately.
