James from the Hollister Hills SVRA did a great job of organizing this event, and received an impressive turnout of people to help clean up the Upper Ranch. In addition to our group from 4x4Wire there were numerous members of MTA (Mountain Transit Authority, a Toyota club in the Bay Area), FJCruiserForums.com, Pirate4x4, and more.

Special mention: The tri tip was excellent! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Leaf springs (an entire set), axles, grills, tires, and an assortment of metal was collected along with cans, cigarette butts, broken glass and more.

Mud pit, which to my knowledge no one made it through that day, though we had just missed the action where someone made the attempt from both ends and failed each time --

Yes GWS, it is true, a thanks goes to you for posting the event, so thank you. Though in my post I did mean to say that the "tri tip" was excellent, not the "trip tip", oops, my bad, it has been edited.

Great pictures everyone! Thanks for documenting it.

So Chief, has Christine spoken about getting a 4x4 after Saturday LOL?

BTW, I'm looking at doing my annual hangover avoidance run again. Let me know who can go and where you are. Since the 1st is on a Friday I was thinking of doing a Friday, Saturday, & Sunday trip this time. Not sure where yet though. Maybe Cow Mountain (depending on funds LOL) since it's a 3 day trip.

I'll post up a new thread for this later today. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Of course. I don't have a crystal ball, but if I did, I'm sure I'd see a 4X4 in her future. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
