Are present year folks welcome, too? Everyone and anyone. I did get a message about one person not wanting their truck used in this years calendar. So on the flip side of the coin if you don't want your truck featured you send me a PM and I won't use any pictures submitted by others of your truck. If I remember last time we had 30-40 pictures submitted and I still had to use 1 or 2 low-res smaller images to fill it up. Because keep in mind once I use someone's rig, all the other pictures they submitted with their rig in it become un-usable because I don't think its fair for someone to have their rig in the calendar twice. So keep the pictures coming!

Double Post For Quality Examples: LOW QUALITY - These I want to avoid having to use. Any image under 1024x768 will usually fall into the area. The image used was a 640x480 essentially. If there is a higher resolution version of this image, then we could use it possibly. Try to at least find an 800x600 version if possible. http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/1900/2010poorqualityexample.jpgMEDIUM QUALITY - From 1024x768 to 1800x1600 or so is the medium quality range. The images have to be stretched still but not so much that the quality really suffers. These are usable images. A 1024x768 image was used for this. http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/3536/2010mediumqualityexampl.jpgHIGH QUALITY - This is the most preferred and turns out the best on the calendar. Anything above 1800x1600 that will take little or no stretching is the preferred size. A 2500x3300 image was used for this: http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/797/2010highqualityexample.jpg(ALL IMAGES LINKED TO DUE TO EXTREMELY LARGE SIZE, MAKE SURE TO CLICK ON THE IMAGE TO EXPAND IT/ZOOM IN TO FULL SIZE AFTER IT LOADS.)

Computer moron here. I understand the size thing, but all I do is download from the camera to photobucket, then link back to the wire. I have no idea how the size thing gets done. How does that work?

Photobucket and other hosting sites can automatically re-size your images when you upload them. If you want to preserve the quality of the image I would us www.imageshack.us or attach them to an e-mail and send them over to DRaider86@gmail.com.

I really didn't have a dead line planned. But lets say December 15th. I cross posted over to Outer Limits as suggested, so hopefully they will be submitting some stuff also. Out of the current ones I have 11 possibles. These aren't selected trucks, but 11 images that stand out from the rest. I think I have gotten around 20-25 images so far, so about half are making the first round of cuts it seems. Things considered:
1: MOST IMPORTANT, SIZE! The higher quality the pictures the more likely they will be used.
2: WHEELING VS PARKED, If you truck is wheeling or what would be considered an action shot, you have a better chance of making it in than a picture of the truck parked in a driveway etc. The more extreme/eye candy filled the picture is the better.
3: WINTER IMAGES, We need at least 3 winter images, and of the 11 possibles there are only 3 winter images. It would be nice to have a choice for the 3 than just go with the only ones available.

I uploaded 31 potential frames for the calendar to: Photobucket Link - Calendar Pics If any of these images meet the criteria (including snow pics!!) but don't have the resolution desired, I can send individual pics as needed. Thanks for the opportunity, again. Russell
