My <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/butwiggle.gif" alt="" /> is hurting!

Today while driving to take my daughters to a game (2 hrs) I could not take it anymore. I had to get out and stretch a bit. I also noticed that the driver seat in the Sportage is pretty much worn out. I thought about Re-Upholstry options and the like but that would not help the issues at hand. I also looked into getting non-leather seats for replacement and here's what I found:

web page

Keep in mind that the whole seat costs over $600 <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/barf.gif" alt="" />

I posted this about 3 yrs. back and am now pretty serious about replacing that old worn seat.

Has anyone tried switching the passenger seat bottom with the driverside????????

Ya, and I know that Everet has got the Leather Seats! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" />

Would really like the leather but that is certainly not an option at this point.

I am gonna try to switch the seats tomorrow and will post up some PICS for ya'll. I know how important it is to have that driver seat nice and comfy'.

----Also anyone got some ideas on nice seat covers (i mean that fit the big Sporty seats)?????

Thanks ya'll in the group! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

.....And may we all have a nicer driver seat to sit in <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/patriot.gif" alt="" />

you know Mike if you would behave yourself more the wife would not have to chew your butt out so much.

I don't think the driver -passenger are interchangeable part numbers are different for both upper and lower. I don't like the seats for drives, and I weigh 190 lbs

I've seen good condition seats in the junk yard in my area. Has anyone tried to stick a pickup truck bucket seat in their Sporty, like out of a Ford, Chevy? Would they even fit? I've seen so many of those in great condition at junk yards everywhere. And they always have electronic controls and heated seats. Justa thought...

One way to find out. Check their return policy first though.

Well I started to remove all of the seats (among other things) AND got free nerf bars from my wife's Jeep Commander........

I plan to use the existing rails...........

This bolt seems to be causing me some problems....

My worn seat.....

Everet gave me some info on seats (gotta look for that web site though) and check the costs. The swapping of the seats will NOT work due to the hump in the center (tranny line) and the compensating structure on each seat. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" />

Any ideas are always welcome <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/patriot.gif" alt="" />

Wow <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> $200 is a deal if they are in good shape!
Here is a link to the ones I showed Hydra: 4 WHEEL PARTS XRC SEATS
If you watch online, they frequently have 10% off weekends.
I'm thinking of putting one in my 2 door because the seat isn't quite right.
Don't know if it will fit but hopefully will work.
Keep us posted!!

I may have found a pair for really nice price! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

Hey John,
Are you sure that you want my old seats?

BTW: looked for seats for a 2002 cause they should be newer (I have a 2001).
