"THE V6 ,S ONLY HAVE ONE ACTUALL SPEED SENSOR ,IT IS THE SAME AS NO 1 SENSOR AND IT IS IN THE SPEEDO HEAD , AND HAS AN OUPUT SIGNAL OF 4 PULSES PER CABLE REVOLUTION, THIS SIGNAL IS USED BY THE CRUISE CONTROL AND THE ECM BUT IT HAS TO GO THRU THE SPD SENDSOR NO 2 WHICH IS THE UNIT MOUNTED UNDER THE LEFT DASH AND IT PROCESS THE SIGNAL SO THE ECM CAN MANAGE IT THE INPUT SIGNAL IS A BRN WIRE NOT THE YELLOW , THE YEL ON THE NO 2 SEN IS THE POWER LEAD , AND THE OUTPUT IS THE WHT WIRE WHICH IS THE BUFFERED SIGNAL , ALL IT DOES IS SMOOTH OUT THE SIGNAL PULSES ,, ALSO THE BRN WIRE ON NO 2 IS THE SAME AS THE OUTPUT FOR THE SPEEDO SW NO 1 IT WILL BE EASIER TO HOOK RIGHT UP TO THE NO 2 SENSOR , THE SENSOR NO1 IS NOTHING BUT A REED SWITCH THAT IS TRIPPED BY A MAGNET BEING ROTATED BY THE DRIVE ASSY IN THE SPEEDO HEAD , BRN WIRE INPUT SIGNAL WHT WIRE OUTPUT SIGNAL AT THE SENSOR OR BUFFER AS IT MAY BE CALLED , YOU CAN TELL IF SENSOR 1 IS WORKING BY TAKING AN OHMETER AND HOOKING IT ACROSS THE BRN WIRE AND GROUND AND SPINNING ON OF THE REAR TIRES JUST ENOUGH TO MAKE THE DRIVESHAFT TURN , IT WILL GO, ON OFF ON OFF , AS THE DRIVE SHAFT IS TURNED , , NOW TAKE A VOLTMETE AND GO TO THE WHT WIRE ON THE NO2 SEN AND SET IT TO ABOUT 5-6 VOLT DC TURN THE KET ON AND SPIN THE TIRE AGAIN AND THE VOLTAGE SHOULD FLUCTUATE A LITTLE BIT FROM WHATEVER IT IS READING...
