Thanks had it fixed today by replacing the two top connectors and the shift shaft seal seals, looks like it isn't leaking anymore.
I can't seem to find the two bushings that are midpoint under the chassis. They look like a large bushing with a bolt through the middle connecting a couple of eyelets.
I want to replace all the bushings eventually but here in California not a lot of available sources that recognize descriptions. Downloaded a repair manual but it doesn't give parts numbers.
Getting about 15 mpg over all right now on Chevron Supreme 93 Trooper LS 255,000 as of 11/28/09
