Going 20-30k between oil changes Id say. The oil gets dirty, sludges up, and sticks.

Had to drop my oil pan in my S4 today because I dented/cracked it recently and it would no longer hold the oil.
Fortunately the bottom was relatively clean with the exception of 2 very small areas (~1.5x1.5 in.) where a few 'microns' of 'stuff' had accumulated.
Of course it only gets mobil 1 full synthetic so that might help explain why. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
