My truck is suffering from rusted brake lines. The local dealership says I can get both rear lines pre-bent for about $100 (there are a lot of bends in these lines and I can't see what's going on over the gas tank) Or, I could get some generic straight lines for about $20 from the local parts store. Is it worth the extra $80 for the factory lines? I've bent a few lines in the past but these are quite a bit longer and they have many bends. If I do go with the generic lines how long should I get, is 72" long enough?

Also, is the best way to replace these to remove the box? It seems a lot easier than removing the gas tank. Or, should I use the generic lines and run them somewhere else?

As always, thanks for your time and advice! It is appreciated.
