Need a Spot
My oil pan is leaking....was going to remove and reseal, until I realized I need to remove the front differential first. The manual I have doesn't say much about how to remove this....any tips for things to look out for, things not to do, etc...? We're looking at a 1994 Toyota Pickup DLX 4x4.

Thanks!

IIRC, I had to undo the motor mounts and jack up the engine in addition to dropping the diff. I believe I just undid the obvious mounting bolts to the diff, and with a jack under it, lowered it down until it was hanging on the axles, then just raised it an inch so all the weight was not on the axles...didn,t take anything else apart...
I'm sure someone will chime in here if I am missing something.
