Need a Spot
I have a 92 toy 4x4 22re 5 speed and I rebuit it and all is fine except I have a high idle 11-1200rpm. I had throttle body checked at dealer and i adjusted the idle screw all the way in & no change, I adjusted it out & it started hunting probably around 1300 like it should. I did notice when I hit the brake it starts hunting. I think that means I have a vacuum leak. Any help would be appreciated.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
Might be a problem with the Idle Air Valve.

Here's the test procedure from the FSM.

Fixed it myself. I was tinkerin around with it and decided to take the throttle body off to check plate clearance and when I disconnected one of the water lines under the t/body I noticed something sticking out of the connection where the hose connected and found that it was clogged. Unclogged it and high idle went away and all is fine. Lesson learned!!!!
