Good luck they should have made heater cores easy to remove! Not sure why they must build the car around the heater core .. Then a few cars its four screws and its out .. Strange ..Some Ford Rangers are cake..Then they give a Mustang thats just a "root canal" to get the heater core out .. Can't help on a 97 never done one ..
