Man, I looked at the fsm, and it's a biotch. You have to take everything out from the firewall back to the seats, but I don't think you have to take out the a/c evaporator, so you don't have to drain the refrigerant. Another argument for a gen1, where you can remove the heater core by cutting one hard pipe, from the dside footwell.
