Well, I got in ynder the timing chain cover, and the components are dry as a bone. Not a mark or a crack anywhere on the belt. Someones been in there. I cleaned the little bit of power steering fluid from inside the cover and called it good (good like I just saved $200). Put it all back, cleaned the gunk off of the passenger-side suspension/steering stuff and installed the rebuilt pump. Yeah, skinny fingers help. And many different styles of needle-nosed pliers. I replaced the 2 vacume hoses, and they were worse to get at than the fluid hoses. When it started back up it surged for 5 minutes until it settled down. Computer-something taking new readings??? Runs good now. I had drained the radiator cause it made for alot of extra room to maneuver. The heat wouldn't come on just sitting, idling, but after 5 minutes of driving, it came back on. Long week-end. Thanks for all the good advice.
