My only concern is AB is a full days drive south for us up north... are there any other trails between LA & the Bay that are open and won't be sub zero? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/baby.gif" alt="" />

Maybe Gorman, don't know never been there.

I thought of that one Nick. Reason I didn't suggest it is it gets cold on the Grapevine!

Jason those NV trails look very interesting and as a plus I've never had a chance to wheel NV.

Gorman (Hungry Valley) is not a camping destination. And, January can be affected by snow and cold. After all, there is a big snow play area within a few of miles of Hungry Valley.

The NV trails out of Carson involve a number above 5000 feet. Again, high probability of snow and cold.

The Nevada area is a great place early or late summer....

Baja is not on the list so I'm deferring my vote until such time it gets on there.
