Dealers have a tendency to obsolete parts at a 10 year point.

However, there are many aftermarket providers that will support vehicles older than 10 years depending on popularity of model.

Popularity of model can be translated into can someone make a profit from stock piling parts for a specific model or model years.

Typically, bone yards were a storage repository for long term access to parts for a variety of models.

As bone yards are being cleared out, the availability of parts becomes restricted.

While I do not track all 4x4 model part availability sites, I will offer that 4x4Wire will act as a repository for information provided that may help others.

And, my offer is not with a desire for 4x4Wire to be the ONLY site. I am from the old-school economic model. I do not want to put all of my eggs in one basket.
