Welcome to NY!!! there are or is a western MA jeep club, dont recall the name. I know they run some trails on or around the mohawk trail..which is part of RT2. Around the city of north adams. They have done a jeep jamboree in the past. Also i have seen signs on jeeps for a cny jeep club recently, i think its cnyjeep.org or something like that. as for being near the adirondacks its a beautiful place just watch out for the bears, you'll have to buy a sled(snowmobile) its huge out there. and be prepared for all the salt they use for the roads in the winter..talk about rust!
