Well its snowing here in Va bout 6 inches so far...took the old ram 50 out and got to play a bit. Friend said I would bust my butt with the swampers. got away from everything and put it in 2wd and pulled a nice hill and drove most of the way home in 2wd. When I get the other two and get the slick bfgs off the front it will be a tank.

You can't do that. You have to post pics. Some of us have to live vicariously thru others since the last time I saw snow, I don't think Bill had even taken a puff off a cigar yet . Sounds like a great time. Shame it has to get cold to have that stuff. Made me remember that I only have one pair of pants.

I lost me camera so all I can take pics with is my phone. And it sucks in the dark so I will take some tomorrow...claiming 2 feet so don't know if I will be going anywhere. Doubt the old d-50 will handle that but I'll give it a shot....if you really wanna live come shovel my driveway

Hey! I want some of that. My "88" better handle two feet or I'll be awfully dissapointed. I want a real 4x4. Not an artificial 4x4, like an "05" liberty. Got stuck in my drive with "it" last year.

I have wheeled my Silver 88 stock in 2 feet of snow, never got stuck. But I will say street tires are still street tires. They will still slip n slide, put some A/Ts or M/Ts on there and that will change.

Went out on the trail today. Had a blast. Lots and lots of trees were bent over or on the trail cause of the weight of the snow on them. Could hear the limbs cracking and falling all around us while we would stop to move a tree on the trail. Was about 12-18 inches at the top of the trail. The main trail we take was totally blocked by limbs and trees bent over so we settled for going up the much easier FS Road. We used the winches lots to clean out a lot of deadfalls for anyone else in the future. So it was worthwhile.
I thought it was a very beautiful ride. Made me miss the "Canadian snow" I am used to and grew up in. My son and I had a great time in the snow and had fun scaring the "first time offroader" passengers. Here are the pics I took.
