well, not to burst your bubble ditchdoc, but i had been asking $100 for the bouncy seat complete. i ended up selling the bouncy frame only for $85 shipped. looking at roughly $25 to ship it so i got roughly $60, but mine had very little rust, and is much cleaner than one in pic. i used the search option here and found that i got a fair price for what i had. i think if you were to clean it up like monty said you might get more on ebay, but then there are fees with that so i guess you have to weigh your options. just wanted to clarify that i did'nt get $100 for just the frame.

My point exactly!!!!!! Your asking price was $100, as mine is......... But you ended up selling it for less which is cool, as my initial post states $100 OBO, or best offer means for those who need clarification: I'M OPEN TO OFFERS, THE $100 IS NOT SET IN STONE!!!!!!! Now if the price said $100 FIRM that would mean I want $100 and nothing less!!!!!! OMG who would of thought a simple ad would bring out so much controversy.......... And sure I could have blown the dust off it and sprayed some paint over the rust but when and/or if someone buys it and gets it home, then all hell would break lose "This things got rust on it, I didn't see any rust in the pic's you posted" I can imagine all the crap that would bring So I left it in it's current condition so you would know what you were getting.. What's with all the ebay comments??? You guys must have stock in ebay..... Trying to drum up business.....

[color:"red"] So please if your interested make an offer, if not PLEASE keep your comments to yourself if there going to be detrimental to my sale... A little common curtsy would be greatly appreciated[/color]

ditchdoc, thanks for posting a bouncy that's actually for sale. if i needed one right now, a check would be on the way to you. i'm a free market kinda guy, and i understood your post perfectly well. in fact it's a deal to whoever needs one right now. thank you for saving it from the scrap heap, and thank you for letting us have a chance at it. fwiw, three months ago i paid exactly $100 for a second bouncy for my raider - PLUS $38.56 for shipping. why? because i could, and i needed it. end of story.

Merry Christmas y'all!

jack b :-) in midland, tx usa

personal note: these internet forums are the 'last' of the real free markets we've all grown up with in the United States. a much bigger (government control) issue is looming before us, and it's one that will take away our ability to sell just about anything
freely and without considerable constraints being put on us all. so let's keep our powder dry and save our venom for those bastards! they're coming...

The forum doesn't have an emoticon for that . . .

The closest we have to a "little common curtsy" is

There is a great bunch of guys in the forum who show a lot of

"courtesy"

to one another and help each other out by swapping parts from a sense of sharing rather than profit-taking.

Most of us are big on dreams but short on cash. So we're pretty tight when it comes to buying parts. If this wasn't basic to our interest in Montys and Raiders, we'd be modifying Hummers or over-priced European sports cars.

Best of luck to you.

As psychologist Dean Dauw once wrote,

"Most of us don't figure out until too late that life is just one big do-it-yourself project."

So I guess I should just change all my prices to "FREE" and if it's ok with you I'll pay for the shipping toooooo, so just let me know what you want and I'll get it to you ASAP, oh and if that's still asking to much just let me know and I'll include a stack of twenty's with your order

Come on, guys. Per our Board guidelines, the vendor in this thread can set his own pricing. As far as the stack of 20's go, I think money laundering is the forte of Mafia Wars on Facebook. I'll be happy to help out there, just exceeded Level 300.

Seriously.

I'm on FB, but I don't have time to mess with the Mafia Wars stuff, I'm to busy trying to rape and pillage folks here on the Garage Sale
