i am being told its whole upper control arm only, with the ball joint pressed in.82 a pop from advance. autozone cant even get them. and by judging from prices on ebay this is normal. and the lowers are 35 a pop. hope i dont need 2 of them. that would be 250$ for four ball joints.

i put all 4 on my ford f150 4x4 for around 60$

moog joints come with the inserts the dealers don't, the inserts alone are about $25 or more from the dealer and thats each, plus the upper arm/joint is about $130. plug moog are good.

post the year of yours and others may help.

$140 pr. or best offer... but they only have a 12 month warr. might make a offer for $120 might get them, but remember only 12 months warr. the moog are lifetime. as long as you keep the receipt. and you don't have to ship them back when buying local.

thanks bomb by the time i saw this i had new ones in.about 1.25 hour and 2 beers a side. packed wheel bearings while in there. i was surprised how well it went.i got two cause i figured the other was probably bad too, when i checked it i couldnt beleive it.way worse than driver side.
im thinkin to get the moogs, press them in my old control arms, and have them ready for around another 50 ,000 miles do another quick swap. with 4 inch lift these upper bj's are probably not at the best angle, and the inside of boot is pretty stretched. i had one torn. 70,0000 miles on odometer so cant complain.handles much better now. thanks for the input.
good ebay find. i bet he would take 120.had i seen that sooner i would have drove the ford a week, and saved 50 bucks. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
