Inexpensive monetary cost can be achieved.
Both generally can't happen in the Mitsubishi 3.0L cooling dept.

I had my factory radiator recored to 3 rows at a local shop for $450 and wouldn't do it differently if faced with the decision again. Lots of people have asked the same question you ask now. Aftermarket radiators are hit and miss. I think Larry (hazydaze) may have a decent brand.
