Can't wait to see your rig finished. Always liked the look of the 2door raiders.
Go ahead and at least tap some 2x4's or something into the block holes if you aren't going to flip them. You might go squishy-squishy without ye old jackstands.

My Fab guy an I are jacking the raider up a bit higher this weekend, so i should have the block turned for my sake and the concerned 4x4 friends i have on the forum. I'm going to use FOA 18coilover shocks with most likely a triple spring setup, but at ride height i am only trying to use 6-7" of the coilovers it come to like 65-70% droop. the rest of the travel will come during hard lines. The Johnny joints are 30degree of motion and they are 2.5" with the 1-1/4" stud. My whole thought is i'm gonna put on the good stuff, so if i ever gernade the raider i can take all this suspension work and put it under another rig at 1/4 the cost. as for axle placement i'm shooting for the from diff, to be even with the from clip. and the rear diff. should be some where under the fuel tank. ( i know what you thinking) with the lift and placement of the bump stops the rear shouldnt hit the fuel tank, if it becomes a problem then i'll either go fuel cell or custom fuel tank. I should be getting my steel tomorrow, i dont wanna ruin all the surprises but we are gonna use square stock for the four link, size 2"X2" 1/4" wall with 1.5" i.d.

Alright did some measuring, the new wheel base will be 10'-11.5'(ft). so im hoping that will allow it to get some gnarly angles.

Nice Build
All that beef in the links for half ton axles? Why not one tons and 39.5's to compliment the links

The way i meassured was with the hub at the front clip, and the rear some where middle to back of the fuel tank so as long as the four link clears the fuel tank thats where its going. I figure that should keep me from going @$$ over tea kettle.
