You are going to put the old Raider running gear under the Focus, right?
Fasteddy's advice is occasionally sound...

Nice welds, but if I'm looking at that front truss right, you might have problems hanging it up on obstacles. Why so low?

Well to be honest with you, we didnt just build it to support the axle tubes. it was angled down in a "V" shape and out of 1/4" square tubing to actually act as a rock slider/support. since its not lower then the Diff. i'm not gonna hit anything with it the diff. wouldnt hit, also it'll protect the diff. from any impact. we went a "V" shape so once we do come across any objects the rash gaurd will slide on them allowing us the cross over them. (Not flat spot or square cuts to hang on) all in theory though, but i cant wait to see if she really does what she's intended to do!!!
And if it dosnt seem to hang right, welp i've got a plasma cutter and its back to the drawing board!

Better to hit the steel than your diff. It might be a good thing that there is such a small surface area to hang up on. You could fab up a ski for it too if it needs some help.
Pics when testing please.

Got the rear axle under the truck taking some meassurements and checking some angles, really need a car lift now! so i could really cycle the 4-link when we tack on some brackets. but i know it'll get sorted out.
