Body Damage is Cool
99% of my forum use here in on one of the two Jeep forums.

My mouse does not work in the editor window when I am replying to a message. When replying, I have to use the cursor arrow keys to position the insertion mark. Moving the mouse pointer to a text location and clicking the left mouse button has no effect. For example, I just posted a reply to a message in the Jeep Tech forum and the mouse didn't work in the editor window.

However, mouse operation in the editor window when I am creating a new message works fine. For example, it is working fine in this window as I am composing this message.

I visit over 30 forums during the course of a week, and this is the only one on which I have had this mouse problem in a reply editor window.

Is there some setting on this forum that I have mis-set, or is this the way it is designed to work?

Thanks for your time.

That is a new one for me.

I have not noticed that problem nor has anyone else reported it.

Don't have a mouse connected to my lap top so will try it later with my desktop computer.

Trck pad on lap top works fine...

I cannot replicate the problem on three different computers.

Try this forum to see if you have a similar response.

Note, this forum is being configured and is an updated version of the 4x4wire forum software.

TayJ has identified another puzzling problem. I cannot find similar problems in the forum support site.

I have had this problem for months now.. BUT MY MOUSE WORKS HERE IN THIS THREAD!! It don't work in the Jeep threads.
It is something that was done 90 days or so ago and only in the Jeep threads.
My mouse works in all threads world wide...except in the Jeep threads.
If you are in doubt go there and try to type in a responce to someone and use your mouse to make a correction or whatever in your own post..
I'd like to know if everyone elses mouse works or is it just the two of us..

Check now and specifically, which of the three Jeep threads???

I did find one bit of html code that used a long discarded qualifier that was not in compliance with current standards.

That was in the Jeep Talk section.
