Yea he was pissed but very nervous as well. To this day I don't know why exactly he was so scared to have any police involvement. Both sides had severe body damage and I bent a rear axle. I bought him a new set of tires and never heard from him again.
I would have killed me.

Weird, he must have had something to hide. By the way, what year 442 was it?

I think it was about mid to late sixties. The biggest boxiest one with twin headlights on each side and huge quarter panels. The trunk was huge on those things too.

Sounds like a 66 or 67, they were huge tankers
So, did he ever repair the car or was it too badly damaged?

But it changed again in 67 when they offered the downgraded 2bbl carb that wasn't techincally a 442. It was called the Turnpike Cruiser, 400, 2bbl, and a 2.92 rear end, a travelling salesman's special.

I believe I have actually seen a unrestored 67 442 w/2bbl that had the orig build sheet in it's window at a show once. It was a very stripped down post body with a bench seat and no carpet, just rubber matting. Can't remember if it was a stick or auto though.

This movie sucked. The only part I liked was the random shots of the Porsche 911. Im glad it was only $1.06 to rent it at the Red Box machine at The Great Wal-Mart. The funny thing is that the RedBox machine is blue to match the store.
I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.

Our Redbox's are red, but now they charge $1.25 plus tax.
