this is true, the pictures of high-angle climbs are tricky. I still have not figured out how to make these pictures. In real life, the hill may be scary... on the picture, it is pretty tame. I had the same problem in my latest trip; the "Diablo drop-off" in Anza in reality is quite interesting, but on my picture it is rather lame.
