As Brendan said, these new ones are different. We have been having a side bar on them and think that they look promising based on first impressions. This then led me to pondering the bigger picture and how to get them best tested for the group and hopefully see Rugged Ridge be able to move forward.
With that in mind, I felt that I was not the most suitable tester and messaged Patrick about dropping down the list to #2 in the replies. That sounded good to him, and now I will be forwarding them on to Toasty. As we all know, he is quite qualified to give them a real shake-down, RockRash style! He'll have them by the end of the week.
We'll leave it to Adam and Patrick to work out the eval feedback and update us down the road.
Ride On, Bill I hope Patrick knows what kind of testing they are going to actually get. Kind of makes me think of a Bud Light commercial... The too light vs too heavy. I welcome it..... Going to be up in the Tracy City TN area this weekend doing sa little testing of my own... Think 360 V8 / 65:1 ratio on Krawlers... My last outing toasted two sets of the older gen.1s ... but it was more my doing than theirs...

Any fit/finish/testing updates?
Am in the market for manual hubs and am curious if there have been any initial results/impressions yet?

I'm running a set on my truck right now.. I have only had to use them a few times with the snow/ice down here -- I personally think they are a big beefier than the AISIN hubs I took off my truck.
At first I thought there was a HUGE difference.. but then I realized that one of the aisins were broken, and explains all the worn out driveline parts up front...
Anyway.. I'm sure you'll see them pop up soon.. they are an AISIN look a like, but a little bit bigger..

I have only had to use them a few times with the snow/ice down here ... Western NC has had snow on the ground since the first of the year. I get to use my aisin hubs everyday to get to the house.

Patrick perhaps I missed this on the thread above but are these hubs currently on the market? These are not on the market yet from Rugged. The storyline is that they have the current model that they are looking to upgrade on. The current model is SW-like, if you haven't seen them. Like Brendan said, these new ones are very Aisin like.
