 4 wheel drive crappy ! any ideas , ?

im a poor kia owner ! and not very handy with fixing stuff but i do try ! this yr i notice my 4 wheel drive hums alot ! it humms more when slowing down . Giving it gas isnt as noticable . Is there a seperate fluid to check or is it integrated with transmission fluid ? 4 wheel drive is still there but it really sound like it gonna fall off , Im not using oversized tired either , any suggestions based on this ?

should have trans and transfer case fluids......
are you sure your hubs are working? if there is anything touching my 4wheel shifter it makes a hum noise....
jack all four wheels up and see if you can find hum or slack in drivetrain,,you can also trouble shoot hubs and see if they are working right.
a few times when rear driveshaft ujoints are bad i get a vibration and hum noise.

ok time to show my ignorance . Where do you see transfer case levels ? Is that the plug /in the xfer case? Another issue i have which may be whole issue it self my alignment is way off ! which could be do to a warn part and putting pressure somewhere it shouldnt be . Cant wait for tax time <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Maybe for future refference???
I took my vehicle down to one of those quick Lube places, not sure wich one. I had the oil changed there once before a trip. Now my vehicle is in their system. So every time after I go 4x4ing; I just stop by quick lube on the way home to have them check my fluid levels. All of them for free. Radiator, Diffs, trans, oil and washer fluid. They even top them off without charging me. So I continue to go there to get that service, and have even returned for oil changes.

mine did the same and it was my needle bearings
01 w/31 in. mtr,winch,elec.fan ,4 in.suspension lift and 4in. body lift,front and rear hitch. NOT ENOUGH POWER so V8 and solid axles coming soon.2013

Slight vibration is all to normal indeed, with the KIA Sport! What other probs are you getting????? Describe "Crappy"? ..Please Mikey
