You can use the V6 auto from 89-90 if you swap the bell housing. It's a bolt up to your existing transfer case.

The bellhousing requires a new O ring and it partly an extension of the OD and the front pump. The good news is you dont need to open the unit up to do the swap.

For a stock 2.6 I would reccomend using the non lockup tranny.
