like angelo said cut a piece of square tube to make a boxed in little tryangle it's stronger.

I recommend notching the pinch weld on the rocker panel to clear the legs of the sliders, that way you keep as much clearance as possible. *Don't do this if you bought HREW tubing sliders, they WILL bend so keep them an inch or more away from the door seal.

Off-Roader, you must really have some plans I don't understand...please elaborate. 78" is w-a-y too long, so there's some cutting in your future?

The middle size should work well for me. I'll post pictures when I have Toasty weld 'em on.

It was a thought!

Here is the pics of the brackets on each of the 8 legs. Orginally it came with 6 legs, but I didnt think that was enough since originally it was for a Toyota which weigh much less. I asked him how much more 2 legs would be, and he included them for no extra cost, what a swell guy! Anywho, here are the pics. The brackets look wider/taller in person. But you get the idea. Note, there are some small rust spots, but thats only temporiary. I'll be taking them off this summer and putting a couple coats on them. Dare I color match?!?! nahhhh
