Cold Weather Shield for Your Sporty.

When itÆs really cold outside; 10 degrees and colder, then my SportÆs engine needs all the warmth it can get.
A typical good running Sporty engine runs cool. In the winter when its 10 degrees out and colder, the motor really cant get up to proper operating temperature. Then forcing air into the radiator and engine bay at highway speeds also causes it to cool even more.

Example: SportyÆs engine is warm, but the cabin will never warm up; cause the radiator fluid is to damn cold to keep the engine and you up to temperature.

Some trucks have grill covers. I cut card board down to size and stick it up next to the radiator. This cuts down on the cold air being driven into the radiator at highway speeds; Thus preventing my radiator from freezing up on the cold winter drive.
DonÆt forget to take out the shield when it warms up, or catastrophic damage can occur.

Without a shield to protect your radiator during that deep snow bogging; snow can cake up in the radiator, warm, then freeze into ice! Ice then expands and tears holes in the radiator.

Have fun in the snow & watch the engine temperature.:D
