One word fellows: diesel. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> No plugs to get wet, no ecu under the dash etc. But you don't want to hear that. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> (in all fairness, I guess the trans computer would still be an issue if it was an auto.)

I've seen four vehicles hydrolock in my wheeling times. Two of them followed me through a deep hole, when I was driving 3.0/V6s. Both could have been prevented if they'd slowed down, as posted above. These days we try to avoid stream crossings if possible, and if not possible, we look for a hard bottom, and try to get across in the easiest place with a steady pace, and without shifting gears if avoidable.
