I purchased a used 96 4X4 Taco several years ago. It definitely doesn't have a TRD locker but how do I tell if it even has limited slip? What the gear ratio is? From what I have read converting to a TRD locker would require a wholesale replacement of the entire rear end (housing axles etc.) If I do not have a LSD, what is involved to convert it to limited slip? Assuming it is even possible. Pointers to web sites with good information regarding Taco rear differential information also be greatly appreciated! Are there any after market lockers or LSD kits that can be installed without major cost and/or modifications?
Thanks Very Much In Advance Regards, Ron
