Have most of you kept the adjustable shock configuration (S or H)electronic setting from the driver seat? What is your reasoning on this?

It looks pretty expensive to maintain to me!

they do work quite well but when it comes time to replace the adjustable shock..they are VERY expensive through the dealership and as fat as I know that is your only option to stay with electronic adjustable, I have installed KYB MONOMAX's in my GEN II as I did not want to spend the $$$$ on OEM shocks.

Torquemonster is correct - to keep the adjustable shocks requires replacing them with Mitsubishi units which are pricey. Once my adjustables got to the point where they were too soft even on their firmest setting I replaced them with the OME suspension kit (and paid less than what the factory shocks would have cost) and have been very happy with it ever since.

I picked up this SR with a blown head gasket for low $$. It is in really good cosmetic shape. But while pulling the engine I noticed the condition of the shocks. Yikes! One completely rusted through in the back. Overall condition of chassis and body is good though.

BTW: It is an SR (not RS)

These guys TSR will rebuild your adjustable shocks. Last I checked it was $82.50AU (~$72US) each.
