A handgun is the tool to deal with unexpected troubles. When I am camping, I do not expect troubles. If I would expect them, then I'd stay awake by the campfire whole night with a long gun. But I do not expect a trouble. This is why I keep a loaded handgun under my pillow when I am camping.
