I have been carrying a handgun for more years than some of you guys have been alive.

Sparkem, there are tons of used LE Glocks on the market, most priced under $400.00. However, Google Glock's website to peruse all models and to join their shooting sports program, costs about $35.00 a year. Glock will allow you to purchase one handgun at LE prices; $399.99 around here. This offer is for specific models only.

Given that many Glock models had problems, I would opt for a new one over a heavily used one and go with a 9mm instead of the other calibers. I run across used ones quite often but you would need it shipped to a FFL in SC which is going to add to your cost.

Look at S&W #469, 669, 908, 908s, 3913, 3914, 6904, 6906 9mm pistols and the #457 .45 a.c.p., especially if you want one Chelsea can also shoot. Glocks seldom fit everybody. Kahr makes some nice compact pistols but they can be troublesome.

I will buy the next compact or sub-compact Glock I run across at a steal and give you a shout. I usually get very good deals. Not sure if the people there like me or just want me out of their store.

Too many 4x4's, not enough time or money
