Gen 1 3.0 v6. I pulled the lines at the firewall and with the temp slider to the warm side can pump water through the heater core so both it and the valve can flow, the supply line from the engine delivers coolant out of it when cranked briefly to check flow. I also squirted with the water hose into the lines going back into the engine. The supply line that goes into the heater valve would take water in and raise the radiator level. The return hose from the heater core back to the engine didn't take any flow or raise the radiator level that i could see. Thats a tight spot back there , i see one is flanged with two bolts and the other clamped to a pipe.
Can anyone enlighten me as to where these two are going? There isn't a hidden manual cut off valve i don't know about is there?
