My break pedal almost goes to floor (not quite though). All the breaks are new plus the 2 rear cylinders and all were bled today at a small shop.

They suspect master cylinder......Which was replaced like 5 years ago.

The only symptom I got besides poor pressure is a loud spring type screeching noise when I step on the pedal.

Any Ideas?????

Thanks,
Mikey

Are the calipers moving like they should? i had a similar issue with mine it ended up being a stuck caliper bolt.

no air in lines (front and back)!

Calipers in front could be sticking....does it affect pressure or cause that noise????

Thanks

get the rear off the ground did it in gear give it some gas and put brakes on do it a dz times and see if you hear the noise. then have a friend stand in the street and brake as you go by then have them stand on the other side and see it they can heard the difference and if front or back

if the fronts then the cal is sticking, ? brakes rear how about the drums ? is there a lip on the drums ? how about spring hard on rears ? if fronts 1 sticking because it does not return could have air even if bleed
