Guys, where is this notion that Sportage rear brakes aren't self adjusting coming from? They are fully self adjusting drum brakes just like any other modern vehicle. The FSM confirms this and I know it from personal experience after replacing the rear shoes.

What CAN throw the whole shebang out of whack is if the parking brake cables rust and prevent the shoes from fully releasing. Had that personal experience too.
