My question is that IF my idle is a little high, will the tps (or something else) cause the non-response of the timing jumper?
Background scenario: The throttle plate has been hanging up ever so slightly when it gets very cold and it was hanging when I first tried the jumper...no jumper response... Nudged the throttle plate down by hand and viola! the jumper worked.
So...is the slightly 'high idle/jumper no work' normal function? ie. does any sensor or tps pick up the fact that the idle is high and disable the ability to retard w/the diag jumper?
