Ray, I'll try to do this soon. I'll take my GPS map program and I'll draw the route and I'll make the screenshot, hopefully it will work.

Have you crazies agreed on the actual dates yet? I might head to pleasant canyon sometime next month. Let me know when you guys get your plan figured out.

I have to confirm a date in April, but if it is my MIL planning a b-day party, then I'm all in. Wife (again) wants me out of the house, she thinks it's no problem (like the last Mojave trip was supposed to be no problem)but that didn't work out for me.
So, My truck is ready to go, as long as we're going to be in DV before it's too hot for an old radiator.
I'm running 99.9% bone stock from tires to seat covers, so I may need help if it's going to be rough.

OK. I did the maps. This is the "low-elevation" plan: way around the Saline valley plus Cerro Gordo/Swansea trail. White - my route two years ago. Blue - possible north-western route to make the full circle. Yellow - Cerro Gordo trail. Saline Valley circle This is the "high elevation" plan for more prepared vehicles. Some vehicles on Saturday can go here for more challenge. Blue - Pleasant Canyon loop. Yellow - route through Mengel Pass into the main Death Valley over the mountains. Pleasant Canyon + Mengel Pass This is total map: Total picture

Justice,
The dates originally established were the 16th to the 19th with the 19th being an optional day...
Routes in the final stages of being determined and based on those results we may be able to leave on any day depending on where that day finishes.
Oleg,
Unfortunately that last map only shows up as the upper left quarter of the page when I click on it.

Ray, this is how it is... it shows only the relative location of the two plans. I could not produce a good picture with both plans on it.

OK so far we've determined the date will be from April 16-19 (fri-mon) w/ Monday being an optional day (may or may not do).
For Friday be ready to get on the trail in the morning (no later than 10:00am). I know for some (like me) that means a short night because of the long drive the day prior.
As you see, we're finalizing the trails we'll be driving but I think we're real close on that as you can tell from the thread.
What I do need to know is what trails you're comfortable doing? Most of the ones we're looking at are easy to moderate trails. I don't believe any are hard trails.
As for interested drivers so far I have... Off-Roader (Ray) KF6ZPL (John) Chief (Bruno) NickR (Nick) ldivinag (Leo?) cap510 (Carlos) BlossomCA (Joanna) holger (Oleg) tyty (Ty) sewerrat (Bob) Vovkus (Vlad) Justice (Justice) bs (Brian) Kirk (Kirk) LRJ4x4 (Les) Oyaji Jon (Jon) Guns and Roses (Kris) joestruck (Joe)
If you're not 100% sure, please let me know and of course if you should be taken off that list please let me know.
Also, I know some of you are bringing friends w/ their own rigs (Alex & Oxana w/ Oleg & some of Ty's friends). Please let me know (by posting here, not by calling me) how many rigs will be in your party, the yr, make, model & color.
Also who will be staying until Monday?
And most important... What kinds of trails you're comfortable doing. I know some really want to be sure their stock or near stock rig will be able to do these trails and I want to try and cater to any/all attendees if possible or at least set the right expectation.

Ray,
I just got my son's soccer schedule, and we have a game on the 17th, so I must , once again, back out on yet another wheeling trip. I WILL be at the HAM Cram next weekend, though, so I'll see you guys there.
