Les, we did the Dedeckera canyon route the other way, from north to south, and we went through the marble steps up. Most our vehicles did not have the lockers and they were fine - may be a few extra approaches, but fine.

I've run Dedecker canyon in my f250 4x4 diesel pickup in both directions; no lift, no locker, no problems.
'89 Raider V6, AT, SAS'ed, Dana 44 front & rear, 5:38 gears, NP 231 T-case.
'97 Montero SR, cold weather package, 4.90 R&P, BATTLEZ suspension w/ 2" lift, JAOS grill guard & under body protection, custom rock sliders.

2001 Trooper LS 3" lift,no more Rancho 9000RX,
no more 4L30E transmission,
ProComp 8" 130W driving lights,
Surco roof rack (modified),
110V power outlet, Viair 380C compressor,
CB/FRS/GPRS/HF/VHF/UHF Radio, 285/75/16 BFG AT/KO.

No, Titus canyon in eastern part of the valley. It would be a different plan. May be John is familiar with that area.
I need some time to produce the waypoints.

Carlos did it a few years back and was hoping to do it again... although it looks like we'd have to completely replan the routes if we do. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> More to think over the next week or so. I hope to have the plans nailed down by next weekend so we can pick a meeting spot for the first day. Sound good for everyone? As for attendee's here's what I have so far... My YJ is mostly black and green.... Its a jeep and parts is parts... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I did receive word that I may need to be at a hearing in federal court in San Francisco on Monday the 19th. I am looking at my schedule and should know within 7-10 days.

There are two problems with Titus canyon trail. First, it is doable in a passenger car sedan - not much fun for a 4x4 ride. Second, it is a one-way road to Nevada - planning the trip convenient route may be problematic.
