Bruno, Ray, I suppose that actually taking freeway 80 through Reno is faster than going over highway 50 along the South Lake Tahoe. I am going to start from Bay Area Thursday morning, go to Reno, then drive down 395. I'll probably stop at Cabela's shop on freeway 80. After Reno, I'll probably drive through Virginia City.
