Ray, you mean
THE MEET UP POINT FOR FRIDAY @ 10:00am IS BIG PINE, CA not Lone Pine.

See what happens when I try to multi-task too many things at the same time?!?

UPDATE:
OK, for those trying to grasp where these trails are in the park, here's a diagram I tossed together this evening.
[Linked Image]

I can only show a small version on the forum. To view a full sized version click on the map. This will bring you to my webshots page. Click on the map image again and select the [FULL SCREEN] option to view the full sized version. If your cursor is a magnifying glass with a + sign in it this means the full sized version was scaled smaller to fit your screen. Go ahead click on the map again to finally see the full sized version. You may have to scroll left/right/up/down to see the entire map image.

The trails are red dotted lines.
The start spot for Friday Morning is marked FM and is located next to Big Pine in the upper left.
Our Friday Evening location is marked FE.
Our Saturday Evening location is similarly marked SE

Now when you read Oleg's description, the orientation and location of the trails relative to each other should make more sense if you didn't already plot them into your gps.

Also, Oleg, when you talk about going to Scotties Castle on Saturday, are we taking Racetrack road up to Big Pine Road/190 to 267/Grapevine then on to Scotties Castle?

Here are some freqs for those interested and have scanning devices.. there are also 1.2 and 3+ ghz links that span across but I didn't think that anybody really has that capability.. These are the most popular.. also while on 395, listen to 451.1875mhz for the lookout!!

As much as it pains me to say it it's about 90% against me making this one. I'm supposed to be in Vacaville playing ball for the weekend + a $378.00 speeding ticket (from MOJAVE) comes into play. You guys/girls have fun - if this changes I'll be on my way but it does not look good right now.
